What I love about Year 12 - the Common Room. For 10 bucks a term there's free flow of coffee and tea, and access to the microwave machines, the toaster and the sandwich press. In almost every class now I have a caffeine boost right at hand, since I carry/refill my thermos flask between classes. It is So Good.

What I hate about Year 12 - it's Year 12. It's stressful. I haven't even hit the first lot of exams yet and my morale is right down here. I wish we got assignments instead of exams.

I am really really tempted to drop Japanese now so I don't have to do the exam next week.

Hopefully, very very hopefully, I will get the Philosophy Distinction Course. Then Japanese is definitely going.

It's not that I don't like learning the language - I do. I like all my subjects. It's just that I can't deal with all these assessments. Timed conditions don't work for me. I'd like to continue learning it outside of school or something...after year 12 though.

Anyway am going to sleep now, I'm soooo drained at the moment. At least Cameron is gone now, so it's quieter. It was fun to have him around but kids can be Such a handful. I can't begin to imagine how tired mothers with young kids must be. This was just two weeks...if I ever have kids it would be years...ahh that's such a terrifying thought. Especially for when I'm so tired. Ok I'd better go now I need sleep!
