Hey guys! Thanks for all the birthday wishes/cakes/presents! =D Yup...I'm 17 now. I'm old, or so everyone says. I still feel so young though, really, I feel like such a little girl! Haha well I DEFINITELY am height-wise at least. :P
Anyway, I get to skip school tomorrow for district athletics! I'm a bit nervous though. 4 events. The runners are gonna be so much better than they were at school. I really hope to get to regionals...fingers crossed! Who knows I might be lucky. Haha. Well I'll be happy enough not to come last in anything tomorrow.
And I still plan to get up at 5am to watch Australia-Croatia! Australia really needs this win!! Or at least a draw to stay in. Hmm I really hope I do get up...last night I was so tired I crashed at like 10.45pm...I set the alarm to get up at 12am though, to see Portugal-Mexico, but then I slept through it! =( Oh well...Portugal came through again, top in their group! =D
And yes Ivan, I have seen Kaka of Brazil. And I couldn't help liking him even though the first time I saw him playing was against Australia! We were watching at camp and everytime he had the ball me and Emily were like NOO!!, cos he's really good. Thank goodness he didn't score in that game or I'd be torn! Haha. They SO did not deserve that second goal though did you see it?! That was crap! And who is Fred? Anyway during our free period today we went and saw all these Kaka interviews on the net. I think I'm obsessed. He's every bit as cute as Cristiano. Maybe more. Haha.
*Sigh*.
Anyway Jess I know! How weird is this? I'm supposed to hate soccer! At least since everyone laughed at me the first time I tried to play when I was a kid. I was scarred! Haha. But at camp I was like whatever...let's just play...and it was fun! I scored! Fine it was a fluke but it was cool. Maybe I will get the hang of it one day.
