What exactly is it to judge?

Sometimes - a lot of times - I feel so judgemental even though I try not to be. Judging cannot simply mean forming an opinion, can it, because no one can help it. No one can stop opinions from forming any more than they can stop them from being biased. Is it to treat someone as if alleged things about him/her are true? And even if they are, do they deserve to be treated any differently?

Who doesn't know what it feels like to be judged? And who then, doesn't, even just vaguely, have a sense of how hostile our world really is, with judging eyes all around, all the time? Everyone. Everyone is pretending to have met that standard. No one wants to be ostracised but no one hesitates to do it to someone else. It's just so so frustrating. Cos maybe, maybe if you don't do it to others, they won't do it to you - but no - that's not really how it works.

Perhaps that's exactly what people see. No merit. No one will stop doing it to me so why should I not vent it back out?

I believe only One actually holds authority to judge. Thing is, this Judge has given mercy to e.v.e.r.y.o.n.e who has asked for it.

The only One who can judge has chosen to love instead. And we who cannot judge - you know what we do.
