Hello! End of first week of third term! =) It's been a Good week. I mean that literally. It's weird, but these past few days God just seems to have been
showering goodness on me. I've never gotten this feeling before. I don't get it, but I'm not complaining man! =P
Anyway, I got a job at Swiss Deli! =) I work Wednesdays after school now. Last Wednesday was my training day and I wasn't meant to get paid but my boss (who is so nice) decided to pay me anyway. =)
This is a bit random but it's been bugging me a bit. We watched
Charlotte Gray (starring Cate Blanchett!) in English yesterday and today cos we're doing film study of it as part of our spy fiction genre study. But anyway, before Charlotte gets sent off to France as a spy, the interviewer asks her, "Of these three: faith, hope and love, which means the most to you?" I already knew the answer was going to be Love, cos you know, Love Is The Answer, Love Conquers All...all the cliche values that movies are always bound to promote. Or so I
thought I knew, cos I was so stunned when after the pause, she said, "Hope".
It took me by surprise cos I hadn't actually considered the question before. I mean,

Duh. But when I actually thought about it, I got hit by the realisation that I know so little about Faith and Love. The one I am most aqquainted with is Hope. Hope is that thing I cling to. My hope comes from my faith, of course, but of the faith itself I know very little. And Love is this one big mystery to me.
Problem? "And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love." - 1 Cor 13:13. I am least aqquainted with the most important. Must find some way to change that...
