I'm not quite sure how, but life is getting better, I think.
I felt like a wreck on Sunday. Something was getting me down and I couldn't figure out what it was.
I was dead to the world on Monday. Probably cause I didn't get any sleep on that flight.
Tuesday (yesterday) went so much better than I thought it would. I guess going back to school wasn't so terrible after all.
I know it's coming, and it's getting closer, but the fear/foreboding - what's the right word? - is lifting. Thanks to you people who prayed for me.
And guess what - it's Wednesday already. Why was I surprised, when I woke up this morning, to realise that I didn't mind going to school? Anyway I am determined not to start skipping school until at least two weeks into this term. (We'll see about that eh.)
Today we found out that our Year 10 Formal (Prom, for you Singaporeans :P) will go on ahead after all. (They were considering cancelling it, after last year when people turned up drunk and someone puked on the principal.)
I've got this song stuck in my head. It's the Closer soundtrack, and it's called The Blowers Daughter by Damien Rice. I saw Closer on the plane to Singapore. Didn't like all the characters. But couldn't help falling in love with this song. The words don't really make much sense, but the music - sometimes it makes me ignore the words. Just like how sometimes, the tone of your voice makes me ignore what you're saying.
